Day 1: Ziplinning in Mabira Forest & Boat Cruise in Jinja
In the morning at around 6 am, your driver will pick you up from an agreed place in Kampala or Entebbe for the two-hour drive east to the lakeside town of Jinja. Along the way, you stop at the Mabira Forest Reserve. Covering 300 square kilometers, this is the largest surviving natural rainforest in the Central Part of Uganda.
Comprising this ecosystem are more than 300 species of trees that are a habitat for primates, mammals, butterflies, and exotic birds like ibises and cormorants. Rather than a nature walk, though, you will be spending your time in the forest experiencing a fun Ziplinning adventure.
Upon arrival at the forest, you will receive a briefing and your safety equipment. Then you will cruise over the rainforest canopy on a network of 5 ziplines that stretch 200 meters across the River Musamya. As you soar across the treetops, keep an eye out for forest-dwelling birds and monkeys like Red-tailed monkeys and Uganda mangabeys.
After the Zipline adventure, you will proceed to Jinja, which is located at the source of the Nile - the place where the world’s longest river exit Africa’s largest lake Lake Victoria.
After checking into your hotel, you will board a boat for a leisurely two-hour boat cruise down this legendary waterway that finishes at a plaque commemorating where the Nile River begins its 6,700 km journey to the Mediterranean Sea. Afterward, you will take a guided walking tour around Jinja to learn about the history of this charming colonial town and visit the local craft markets to pick up some souvenirs.

Day 2: Nile Whitewater Rafting Adventure
Set off on another aquatic adventure this morning, whitewater rafting down the Nile River.
After a safety briefing from an expert guide, you will put on your gear, and jump in the large rubber raft to start your rafting expedition.
As part of your 3 Day Jinja Tour, the Nile River offers an exhilarating adventure for both beginner and seasoned rafters. Its powerful currents and varying rapids provide an ideal setting for white-water rafting, while moments of calm allow you to admire the towering cliffs and lush vegetation that surround this majestic river.
After conquering the rapids, your adventure concludes with a delightful buffet lunch on a private island in the middle of the Nile. This serene setting is perfect for celebrating your successful journey down the river before heading back to your hotel for some well-earned relaxation.
In the evening, your 3 Day Jinja Tour continues with a leisurely stroll along Jinja’s main street. With numerous local and international dining options, you can indulge in a meal of your choice, ensuring a satisfying end to an unforgettable day.

Day 3: Quad Bike Tour & Bungee Jumping
You adventure on the final day of your 3 day Jinja Tour, keeps you on land, as you jump on a four wheeled quad bike or ATV to explore the diverse landscapes of Jinja.
The activity with begin with a training session to ensure you are comfortable on the quad bike, so you don’t need any prior driving experience.
When you’re ready, you will set off through the countryside, navigating rugged terrains and off-road paths. Drive through rural villages, expansive sugar cane plantations, and wild forests, witnessing rarely-seen sections of the Nile River. After the quad bike adventure, you’ll enjoy another super exciting River Nile activity.
Along with your guide, you will transfer to a launch point for a bungee jumping over the longest river in the world. Choose between having just your ankles tied so you are facing downward, creating a free-fall sensation, or your whole body tied for a more secure and comfortable feeling.
When you are ready, jump off the tower and plummet 141 feet (43 meters) toward the water. After enjoying one of the most exciting activities on the planets, you will embark on your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe at the end of your 3 Day Jinja Tour.
