We are Skymate Tours and Travel, trading as Tulambule Uganda Safaris, a 100% Ugandan-owned safari company headquartered in Kampala, Uganda. We specialize in authentic, locally guided safari experiences across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Our Story

We started Tulambule with one clear belief: the best safari experiences are built by people who actually live here. Our guides know Bwindi's trails because they have walked them hundreds of times. They know which gorilla families are easiest for elderly trekkers, which sectors are quietest in peak season, and where the shoebill storks nest in Mabamba. No international operator can offer that local depth.

Over more than a decade, we have grown from a small Kampala-based team into a full-service East Africa operator — but our core has never changed. Every itinerary we build is personal, every guide we send is Ugandan, and every experience we design puts conservation and community at the centre.
