Day 1: Jinja - Staying at Lemala Wildwaters Lodge
On day one of your 3-day Luxury Wildwaters Lodge Experience in Jinja, you will be met at Entebbe International Airport or your place of stay in Kampala/Entebbe. From there, you will embark on a private road transfer with our English-speaking driver guide.
The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the pick-up place and traffic. You arrive at the quayside and will be taken to the island with the resort's boat.
Located on around six hectares on Kalagala Island, Lemala Wildwaters Lodge lies on a unique private island mid-stream within the River Nile - one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Africa. It is uniquely perched on granite rocks with dramatic and exciting rapids roaring all around.
The 10 stand-alone elevated timber floors and super-spacious luxury suites are nestled in the rainforest with amazing river views. Each suite is linked by raised wooden walkways to the restaurant, bar, and library. Relax at the lodge and appreciate a leisurely sunset cruise on the Nile River before returning to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a good night’s sleep.

Day 2: Jinja - Staying at Lemala Wildwaters Lodge
Today, we have included a full-day excursion (with a picnic-style lunch included) for you to experience some white-rafting on the Nile. This adventure activity can be customized depending on your rafting experience, alternatively, we can replace it with a horse-riding activity, sport fishing tour, kayaking trip, white-water tubing experience, bungee jumping, quad biking, or jinja city tour.
The white-water rafting adventure is a truly memorable full-day experience. You will drift amidst the breathtaking scenery of Wildwaters Reserve on the world’s most famous river.
Marvel at the birdlife as you raft through the breaking waves. Return to the lodge, spend some time relaxing at the pool, or enjoy a good book in a private corner with a view of the forest nearby. Dinner is enjoyed at the lodge and night.

Day 3: End of Itinerary
After a relaxed breakfast today, you will be transferred by road back to Entebbe International Airport or Kampala/Entebbe and time at leisure until your own flight out, or contact us to extend your trip. This 3-day luxury Wildwaters Lodge Experience is a perfect way to relax at the end of a Uganda wildlife safari or gorilla trekking adventure.
