Skip the long road transfer. This 4 Day Gorilla Trek Uganda Flying Safari gets you from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park by air in just over an hour, leaving more time for the gorilla trek itself, a local community visit, and genuine relaxation at your lodge.

It's the ideal option for travelers short on time, or anyone who would rather spend a day at leisure in Bwindi than in a vehicle on the Kampala-Mbarara-Kabale highway.

4 Day Gorilla Trek Uganda Flying Safari

Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and Transfer to Your Hotel

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be met by your Tulambule representative and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. The rest of the day is free to rest after your flight, settle in, and get an early night ahead of tomorrow's domestic flight.

Overnight: hotel in Entebbe or Kampala (bed and breakfast).

Day 2: Flight to Kihihi Airstrip and Short Drive to Bwindi Local Community Experience

After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled Aerolink flight to Kihihi Airstrip, a journey of about one hour over Uganda's western landscape. On arrival, a short drive of around 40 to 45 minutes brings you into the Buhoma sector of Bwindi.

With the rest of the day free, you'll head out for a local community experience, visiting Buhoma's community-run initiatives, craft centers, and women's groups that share daily life around the park. Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Relaxation at the Lodge

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for the ranger briefing, typically between 7:00 and 8:00 AM, where trekking groups are assigned their gorilla family. The trek through Bwindi's dense rainforest can take from 30 minutes to several hours, followed by a strictly enforced hour with the gorillas. With the trek usually finished by early afternoon, the rest of the day is yours to relax at the lodge, most of which are set with forest or valley views ideal for unwinding after the hike.

Day 4: Drive to Kihihi Airstrip and Fly to Entebbe Airport

After a relaxed breakfast, transfer back to Kihihi Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Entebbe International Airport, arriving in time for onward connections or your international departure.
