6 Days Dubai Holiday Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Dubai
Your 6 days Dubai holiday package starts in Entebbe. Fly to Dubai with Uganda Airlines or Emirates, both direct. After immigration and customs, our local representative meets you in the arrivals hall and drives you to your hotel, past the city's famous skyline.
The rest of the day is free. Rest after the flight, or take an evening walk around Dubai Mall and watch the Dubai Fountain show beside the Burj Khalifa.
Day 2: Dubai City Tour and Burj Khalifa
After breakfast, start a guided half-day city tour. You will stop for photos at the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Mosque, then visit the old Al Fahidi Historical District and cross Dubai Creek by traditional abra boat to the Gold and Spice Souks.
In the afternoon, see Palm Jumeirah, the palm-shaped island, by monorail and stroll along Dubai Marina. End the day at the top of the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, for views across the city and the desert. Sunset tickets are the most popular, so we book them early.
Day 3: Abu Dhabi Day Trip
A highlight of this 6 days Dubai holiday package is a day in Abu Dhabi. Leave Dubai after breakfast for a full-day tour of Abu Dhabi, the UAE's capital, about 90 minutes away.
Your first stop is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, covered in white marble and open to visitors of all faiths. Modest dress is required, and the mosque lends traditional robes for free.
Next, choose your afternoon: the rides at Ferrari World on Yas Island, including one of the world's fastest roller coasters, or the art and history of the Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island. Return to Dubai in the evening.
Day 4: Desert Safari with BBQ Dinner
Enjoy a slow morning at the hotel, by the pool or out shopping. In the afternoon, a 4x4 collects you for an evening desert safari.
Ride over the red sand dunes in a thrilling dune drive, then try sandboarding and a short camel ride. Watch the sun set over the desert before a BBQ dinner at a desert camp, with a fire show and traditional dance performances. You are back at your hotel by about 9 pm.
Day 5: Free Day and Dhow Dinner Cruise
Spend the day your way. Shop at Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates, relax on Jumeirah or Kite Beach, or add an optional trip such as a water park, the Miracle Garden or Global Village (October to May).
In the evening, board a traditional wooden dhow for a two-hour dinner cruise along Dubai Marina, with a buffet dinner, live entertainment and the city lights all around you.
Day 6: Depart Dubai
The last day of your 6 days Dubai holiday package is relaxed. After breakfast and check-out, we drive you to Dubai International Airport for your flight home to Entebbe. If your flight is late in the day, we can arrange late check-out or a final shopping stop on request.

UAE Visa for Ugandans
Ugandan passport holders need a visa to visit Dubai. The good news is that it is an e-visa, applied for online before you travel, with no embassy visit needed. When you book this 6 days Dubai holiday package, we handle the application for you.
Send us these documents at least three weeks before travel:
- A clear colour scan of your passport, valid for at least six months
- A passport-size photo with a white background

The UAE immigration authorities make the final decision, but a complete, well-prepared application avoids most delays.
Best Time for a 6 Days Dubai Holiday Package
- November to March: the best weather, with warm days of about 24°C to 30°C. Global Village and outdoor attractions are open, and the Dubai Shopping Festival runs from December to January.
- April and October: hotter, but quieter, with lower hotel prices.
- May to September: very hot, often above 40°C. Hotels are cheapest, and most of your time will be indoors, in malls, water parks and the Burj Khalifa.
For a 6 days Dubai holiday package over Christmas, New Year or Eid, book at least two months ahead. These are the busiest and most expensive weeks of the year.
Tips for Ugandan Travellers to Dubai
- Dress modestly in malls, souks and mosques. Swimwear is fine at beaches and pools.
- Carry a yellow fever card and copies of your hotel and flight bookings.
- Money: the UAE dirham (AED). Cards are accepted almost everywhere, and US dollars change easily.
- Medicine: some common medicines are restricted in the UAE. Carry prescriptions in their original packets with a doctor's letter.
- Shopping allowance: check your airline's baggage limit before buying heavy items.
